The Red River Fiddle & Dance Society Inc. will be hosting an Old Time Dance Sunday afternoon on May 5, 2024. This fundraising event will help cover some of the travel costs of the fiddlers that have been chosen to represent Manitoba at the 2024 Canadian Grand Masters (CGM) Fiddling Competition which will be held in Whitehorse, YK this summer. The dance will feature our fiddlers that will be attending the CGM as well as Manitoba fiddle legend Garry Lepine. There will even be a few square dance calls! We are proud to say that this will be the first old time dance hosted by the newly founded RRFDS and that we encourage all levels and ages of dancers to attend! Teacher couples will be available for those who want to learn. A social-type lunch will be served in the afternoon and is include with the price of admission.
